A group of us women went (all our first time) and it did not disappoint. Ka'teen is esthetically gorgeous, drinks were greats, food was amazing. I only took 1 photo of the food, the rest was devoured before I remembered to take a photo! lol.. 10/10.

Lively vibe, similar to Casa Madeira with a live DJ. The food was flavorful and our server was very friendly and accommodating with food and drink recommendations.

Ka'teen is a great date restaurant on a cool summer night! Reminds me of Cancun, with live entertainment as you eat. I took my gf here and it the ambiance set the mood for a great date night. Food was great and there was a girl playing with fire that frequently walked through the restaurant, entertaining guests. Overall good experience!

Overall, my large party and I had an okay time at Ka'teen. The food was not memorable but the interior definitely was the perfect picturesque environment. It truly felt like I was in Tulum again. We went on a rainy day, and for an establishment where most of their tables are outside, it was a bit hard. A lot of us got wet towards the end but there were heaters and blankets. Our server, Gio, was a great guy. He was super nice and made the best out of the rainy day. Keep in mind it gets really dark outside so it was hard to see everything. Food wise, everything was just okay. There was nothing really on the menu that stood out to us except for maybe the ceviches and whole fish. We ordered around two of everything for the whole table. My side of the table got a charred steak. We thought it tasted weird so I tried a piece of the second steak on the other side of the table. It tasted completely different and I was shocked that there was no consistency between the two steaks. For being the most expensive dish on the menu, I expected it to be good. I brought this up to our server and he originally asked us why half of it was eaten. I told him it was because each person had one piece. I explained to him that the second steak was juicy and salty but the first steak was charred and tasted burnt. He came back a few minutes later and he apologized and ordered us a new steak. I am very grateful that he was able to accommodate because even if we ate half the steak, it was only one piece per person, as it was a large group.

Great service, great vibes and good food. We've only got couple small items to snack on while we can focus on our drinks. We got chips and guacamole, corn esquite, tostada del mar and couple of drinks. The only problem was that the food was on the spicer side. Which was ok to begin with, but I couldn't even eat the corn, which was sad. Overall I could come back for the vibes but would definitely ask for no spice in the future. Mezcalita de Yucatán was so good! Since I was focusing on the drinks more than my food this time, even the spice level wasn't a big deal.

I really loved the vibe and the decor there, service not so much, it took a good 20 minutes for the server to come to our table but they were fast bringing the food. loved their Caesar salad and the potato taquitos. The cauliflower was okay, it was a bit burnt on surface and raw inside. Its worth for one visit at least.

I have been on a brunch streak for the last couple of weeks. I will take brunch over fancy dinners any day. AMBIANCE!/Service 5/5: the place is beautiful I can't deny that from the moment you enter you feel you are located in another country. It reminds me of being in Cancun. The music playing also set the vibe for relaxing and enjoying a beautiful, sunny brezzy day. I hate the outside tho lots of homeless and dirty dirty area but that has nothing to do with Ka'teen. Drinks/Food 4.5/5: Our drinks were good strong and not super sweet. They were refreshing and citrusy reminded me of being on vacation sun bathing. I had the Luna Verde and it was a big drink but they didn't cheapen out on the alcohol. The food was good we started with the shrimp taquitos 5/5. I had the Crème brûlée pankais that I shared with the babes and a side of egg. He had the enfrijolada brisket. Very good presentation, portions and very flavorful food. Service: 5/5 There wasn't a wait at all plus we had made prior reservations. When this place first opened it was difficult to make reservations we didn't run into that this time. So book your reservations. Our waiter was amazing he was so attentive! Checked on us several times and told us of several upcoming events such as a DJ during dinner reservations. Their service is A1 trust me. Parking: 1/5 Again this has nothing to do with Ka'teen but really $30 dollars for parking. You can tell I was not the one who booked this place cause being from LA I refuse to pay for parking or anything that will make me look like I want to throw away cash. Nope!! We decided to explore the area after by going to the farmers market and another sports bar to catch the Clippers Game. I enjoyed coming out here it was cool but that $30 parking I will only come for a celebration.
